2023-2024 Application Process

Application Process

You will need:

  • Resume (no longer than 2 pages)
  • Pick up to 5 projects of interest
  • Be prepared to write approx. 250 words detailing your experience and interest in community volunteering.

Step One - Rank

Browse our 2023-2024 projects (external link)  and choose up to 5 projects you are interested in volunteering for. You will rank each of these based on your preference.

Please consider the time committment, location, and any qualifications listed. If you do not meet the special requirements listed for a project, we ask that you please refrain from listing it.

We will endevour to do our best to place you on your top choice project, but please note projects are not guaranteed.

Step Two - Key Dates

Training is mandatory in order to volunteer with PBSC. Consult the list of important dates and ensure you are available for all trainings and events.

If you have any questions about these dates, please email the Program Coordinators at pbsc.lincolnalexander@gmail.com as soon as possible. 

Step Three - Apply!

Visit the Student Volunteer Application Form (external link, opens in new window)  and read the instructions carefully.

Please have your resume prepared as a PDF with the following naming convention: "Last name, First name_Resume.pdf".

Step Four - Submit

Submit your application form before 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, September 15, 2023. Please note that applications will be considered on a rolling basis and students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

We will begin releasing offers via email the week of September 19 2023. You will have up to 24 hours to accept your offer.
