University Vehicles Procedure

Requests for use of a University vehicle and a driver must be made in a timely manner to Campus Facilities & Sustainability (CFS) and is subject to appropriate vehicle availability.
All vehicles have log books; the groundskeeper/driver makes appropriate entries prior to each use of the vehicle, including a vehicle inspection and fluid levels check. The log book is maintained in the vehicle and a copy is supplied to the supervisor weekly.
The groundskeeper/driver is to supply a driver=s profile annually to the Manager, Custodial Services.
This procedure falls under the jurisdiction of the Vice President, Administration and Finance. The application and interpretation of the policy and its associated procedures is the responsibility of the Director, Campus Facilities & Sustainability (CFS).
