Library OER Grants

The Library pleased to announce the 2022 Open Educational Resources (OER) Grants to encourage the creation and adoption of open educational resources. OER are learning materials that are openly licensed such that they are freely available to be adapted, copied, and shared. OER can be: courses, modules, textbooks, multimedia, assessments, and supplementary materials. A total of $40,000 is available - two $10,000 grants for the creation or adaptation of an OER textbooks and two $10,000 grants for the creation of openly licences immersive content.

Centre Teaching Grants

The Learning and Teaching Grants Program (LTG), funded by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic, and administered by the Centre for Excellence in Learning & Teaching, reflects Toronto Metropolitan University’s continuing commitment to teaching excellence and pedagogical leadership, along with our community’s ongoing dedication to equity, community and inclusion (ECI) in the classroom. Applications looking to investigate open pedagogy and the use of open educational resources are encouraged. 

Chang OER Grants

The Chang School hosts an annual grant competition in the amount of $10,000 for Continuing Education Contract Lecturers (CECL’s). The 2022 call invites submissions for Digital Experimenter and Open Education (OER) Grants. These grants are funded by The Dean’s Office of The Chang School and are open to CECLs with two or more years of teaching experience.
