“My most memorable moments took place during orientation week, getting to know the campus and my new friends from around the world. I felt warmly welcomed at TMU and made new social connections for my whole stay in Canada. Go outside and take part in the university's social events, just immerse yourself in a new culture.”

"This really helped me to become a lot more confident in who I was and my ability to be able to do what I love. Just make the most of everything and do take part in anything you want to. You are never going to have an experience like this again, and you will carry it with you forever."

"The whole experience was unforgettable, seeing Niagara for the first time and feeling my spark come back. At TMU, the most memorable part was my derivatives professor. I had fantastic and nurturing professors who helped me better than any professor I had back home."

"I got to learn about Indigenous Canadians and their history, which I found very valuable. As a social worker, it is vital to have knowledge of the Indigenous Peoples where you work. Getting to experience so many cool things with friends made it so much more memorable as well!"
