On October 20, 2026, the Centre for Studies in Food Security and Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries celebrated two book launches.

Agency for Food Security in Brazil includes 9 thought-provoking chapters that discuss how agency, through public participation in policymaking and implementation, is central to Brazilian democracy and essential to protecting the right to food.
