In May of 2020, Canadian label Greta Constantine (founded by Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong) began selling masks that offered both function and fashion. This mask, called the “M4,” after the Toronto postal code in which it was designed and produced, features spiral ruffle embellishment and is made of Italian microfiber knit. The brand partnered with local businesses across North America to sell their masks, representing their support for small business owners who faced a number of challenges as a result of pandemic restrictions.
