Aille Design

Designer Alexa Jovanovic launched Aille Design (pronounced “eye”) in January 2020, just before the pandemic put the country into its first lockdown. The Toronto-based company has inclusivity at its core, with a focus on clothing and accessories adorned with fully legible Braille messages. Among her product offerings are face masks with messages like, “chin up mask on,” and “I love your mask.” Aille’s designs are meant to destigmatize disability and raise awareness about the importance of inclusive representation in fashion.
