Guy T. Hoskins is a post-doctoral research fellow at Carleton University with the Global Media & Internet Concentration Project and a contract lecturer at Toronto Metropolitan University.
He holds a PhD in Communication & Cultural Studies from York University. His recently released book examines the development of digital rights in Brazil. Guy’s research focuses on the intersection of the global political economy of digital media and communication policy and his work has been published in the Journal of Digital Media Policy (forthcoming), Javnost, Internet Policy Review and Television & New Media.
Current projects focus on the rise of platform investments in internet infrastructure around the world.
