Eric Warner began his career in the late 1990s as a teenage concert promoter, gaining skills in concert promotion, music marketing, festival management, music management, and brand development.

In 2005, he founded We Are Busy Bodies, an acclaimed record label and music company. Additionally, Warner runs The Cylinder Project, a not-for-profit aimed at revitalizing endangered languages through early sound recordings.

He has lectured across North America on topics like youth engagement, record label management, and event programming. We Are Busy Bodies has released over 190 music releases, receiving acclaim from various media outlets including the BBC, CBC, the New York Times, The Wire, Bandcamp, and others.

Many of its represented artists have been nominated for Juno, ECMA and WCMA awards.
