Human Resources

Human Resources provides employees access to a wide range of resources to support their career development and wellbeing. HR is available to help answer questions or navigate processes related to hiring, compensation, benefits, retirement planning and more. 

Through HR, employees can also access TMU’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) (external link) , which is a free, confidential counselling and information service to support your health and wellbeing. EFAP services and resources are available to you and your family members who are also covered by your benefits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.

AskHR

AskHR is an online tool that can help employees get answers to common Human Resources questions and contact HR for assistance.

  • Log into AskHR using your TMU username and password.

  • Type your question or topic into the search bar to find articles related to your query.

  • If you’re unable to find an answer to your question, you can contact HR by submitting a request through AskHR. Use AskHR to request a letter of employment or initiate a leave of absence.

Learning Events

TMU employees are eligible for professional development and learning opportunities. Use the Learning Events Calendar to access workshops and training related to career development, interpersonal skills, leadership, inclusion, wellbeing and more.

The lounge provides a space for TMU employees to connect, socialize and eat, rejuvenate and rest on campus.

Flexible Work Policy

Toronto Metropolitan University recognizes the benefits of providing more flexibility to employees in where and how they work. Leaders across the university can establish working arrangements that will benefit employees and the university.
