Elijah Major is an undergraduate student entering his fifth year in the Geographic Analysis program at Toronto Metropolitan University. He has a strong career focus on using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to solve real-world challenges. With a keen interest in data visualization, spatial analysis, and applied mapping, Elijah is committed to leveraging technology to drive meaningful, data-informed decision-making in urban planning, public policy, and social impact work. Currently, Elijah is contributing his skills as a GIS Project Assistant on the MEMO Project Team, where he plays a vital role in data cleaning, spatial analysis, and developing high-quality maps and visual materials. His work supports interdisciplinary research and contributes to actionable insights for initiatives. Elijah’s combination of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and a passion for social impact makes him a promising emerging professional in the geospatial industry.
