Charlie Wall-Andrews

Dr. Charlie Wall-Andrews is a Trudeau Scholar, creative industry executive and faculty member at the University of Toronto. In addition to having over a decade of management experience, she is an alumna of the prestigious Ariane de Rothschild Fellowship, which specializes in entrepreneurship and leadership. As Executive Director of SOCAN Foundation, she established many programs such as the Creative Entrepreneur Incubator and Equity X Production Development Program which prepares artists to turn their passion and talent into a sustainable career. In addition to serving on many Boards, she is currently the Vice-Chair for Music Canada's advisory council, and conducts entrepreneurship and creative industry research at the Diversity Institute.  She is a Management PhD student at Ted Rogers School of Management specializing in Strategy, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, and previously completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Ivey Business School, Master of Arts (MA) at York University, and Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Laurentian University. She has also completed the Association of Fundraising Professional’s inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship in Philanthropy program, and she is a graduate of the Cultural Leadership program at the Banff Centre.
