Dr. Charlie Wall-Andrews
Dr. Charlie Wall-Andrews, recognized by SPIN Magazine as one of the 25 most influential figures in music in 2025, is a leading force for equity and innovation in the creative industries. At SOCAN Foundation, she spearheads national programs like the TD Creative Entrepreneur Incubator and Equity X Production Program. A Billboard Canada Power Player and recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal, she was also named Change Maker of the Year by Women in Music Canada. An award-winning educator and researcher, Dr. Wall-Andrews is an Assistant Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University and serves on boards including the Canada Council for the Arts and Music Canada. Her work, funded by SSHRC and MITACS, addresses systemic challenges in arts and culture. A former Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholar, she is committed to building a more inclusive industry, empowering the next generation of artists, and mobilizing a thriving creative ecosystem.
