After two-and-a-half years of social distancing, we are so excited to bring Black folks at TMU together in community and belonging. The Black Excellence Mixer will offer an intentional space for Black students, staff and faculty to rejoice in the power of and within Black community at the university.
On Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., this event will offer:
- affirming space for participants to share stories and learn from one another
- opportunity for networking, mentorship and career development
- invitation to forge meaningful multi-generational relationships across university roles
- celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of Black individuals
The Black Excellence Committee is actively committed to nurturing belonging and Black flourishing.
