Dr. Eun Jung
Eun is a sociologist whose area of expertise lies in the sociology of health, feminist cultural studies, and environmental studies. Her research focuses on inequities and injustices underrepresented groups experience in the health system, physical activity participation, and secondary school education. She has experience collaborating with interdisciplinary research groups, government organizations, and community partners. Her previous work includes developing a national code of ethics for school sports, leading workshops for graduate students of colour at international conferences, conducting in-depth interviews on misogyny and racism within university departments, and contributing to the development of a questionnaire to quantitatively measure intersecting marginalization.
