About this event:

This workshop will demystify and simplify the process of addressing academic misconduct under Policy 60 while acknowledging the emotional labour involved for faculty/instructors in their roles as eligible investigators and decision-makers. We will explore reasons for reluctance in reporting concerns, the increasing importance of upholding academic integrity in the age of AI, and unpack the emotional reactions that may arise as a result of difficult discussions, breaking bad news, doubt, and making decisions. Using scenarios/case studies, participants will have the opportunity to explore setting healthy boundaries and staying within scope, as well as learn practical strategies for self-care.

Facilitated by:

Dr. Diana Brecher, Adjunct Faculty, Psychology Department & Associate Member (Yeates School of Graduate Studies)
