About this Event

This presentation is for anyone teaching at TMU and will provide a walkthrough of the newly released Policy 159: A Shared Responsibility online training. Participants will learn about the “who, what, where, when, and why” of accommodations, and how to use the training to fulfill faculty and contract lecturer responsibilities outlined in the Policy. A portion of the session will be dedicated to exploring some of the resources embedded in the training such as creating an “accessibility statement”, performing an “access invocation”, and developing short term and impactful goals for inclusive course design.
