Families are asked to familiarize themselves with our registration policies before completing their camper’s application. Upon submitting their camper’s application, families acknowledge having reviewed these policies.

Toronto Met Day Camps may modify, add, or delete activities from the program based on camper interests and facility space.
In the very rare case where a program is cancelled because of low enrollment, we endeavour to give families as much notice as possible. We will transfer campers to another camp program if families are interested and space allows. Otherwise, families will be provided a full refund.
Unless otherwise noted, registration closes three (3) business days before the first day of each Camp program. We are not able to accept last minute registrations for any of our Camp programs. Many of our camper groups are set, staff assigned, and schedules developed several days in advance of our programs.
This policy applies to registration with our Before Care, After Care, and lunch options as well.
Summer Camp Refund Policy
The following is our refund policy for a standard year. This policy does not apply in 2022.
Families can cancel their registration no later than June 1, and receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee per camper week cancelled. Refunds or credits are not available for any cancellation made after June 1.
Refunds or credits are not available for withdrawal from Before or After Care options after June 1.
Registrations received after June 1 are considered final. Refunds or credits are not available for registrations received after June 1.
Summer Camp Refund Policy for 2022
We recognize that 2022 will again be a summer of uncertainty for our families. The policy below represents our effort to make camp a safe and affordable option for our families during this time.
For summer 2022, families may cancel their registration up to one week prior to the first day of their registered session with no cancellation fee applied. Cancellations that occur after that date will incur a $50 cancellation fee per camper week cancelled (unless the cancellation is due to COVID-19; see below).
If your child has to miss camp for any reason related to COVID-19 (e.g. experiencing symptoms, close contact with a confirmed case, awaiting test results, positive test, etc.), you will receive a prorated refund for any days of camp missed with no additional fee. We recognize that such an experience is challenging (and likely entails additional expenses), and don't want camp to be an added source of stress.
We do not require proof of illness (e.g. a doctor's note) for you to be eligible for this credit. We respect our families, and just ask for your honesty with whether this policy applies to you.
PA Day & March Break Camps
PA Day Camp and March Break Camp payments are final. Refunds or credits are not available for PA Day and March Break Camp programs.
We will accommodate requests to transfer your child from your original registered program to another program provided:
- Your request is made at least three (3) business days before the first day of the requested program’s start date.
- Space is available in the requested program.
Toronto Met Day Camps has put in place Standards of Behaviour that all campers and Leaders-in-Training are expected to follow. The Camp Leadership Team reserves the right to dismiss a camper who, in their opinion, is a hazard to the safety or rights of others, or who appears to have rejected the reasonable expectations of the camp as set by the Standards of Behaviour.
Refunds or credits are not available if a camper is dismissed from the Day Camp program.
We incur a cost of $50 for every cheque that is returned by the bank because of insufficient funds. Please note that if your cheque is returned to us by the bank because of insufficient funds, a $50 service charge will be added to your family account.
