What does it mean to be a Black TMU grad?
It feels like a wonderful accomplishment, one that I am really proud of as a first-generation student. Despite the pandemic, I am ever grateful for my experience.
What advice do you have for other Black students at TMU?
By joining different clubs, finding an on-campus job or simply volunteering, I have found that it allows one to really connect with students from all over TMU, which is great and provides a sense of belonging. By attending events hosted by different departments like TMSU, I found that I was able to meet new people and engage in new experiences, which I highly encourage students to do!
