Hello, my name is Chinyere Okonkwo and I’m an international student from Nigeria. Coming to Ryerson as well as applying to the international economics and finance program was the best decision I made. It was not always a smooth journey but with the help of my friends and some of my professors, I have completed this journey and I look forward to the next stage in my life.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?
I plan to get a fulfilling job, travel and eventually do my Masters.
What advice do you have for other Black Ryerson students?
Utilize all school resources. Don’t be afraid to speak to people in your program, friends take the edge off school.
