June M. Parris

June M. Parris attained the rank of Sergeant in the Canadian Armed Forces, where she served for 35 years. June and three of her brothers are the third-generation serving members in the Canadian forces in her family. Her paternal grandfather, Seldon Thomas Parris, served during WW1, while her maternal grandfather and her father served in WW11. Raised in the North End of Halifax, Nova Scotia, June retired from the Force in 2015 and currently works for the Corps of Commissionaires in Toronto.
