Get to Know Eva Oseen
Hello, beautiful people of the internet!
My name is Eva Oseen, you may remember me from our school's famous TikToks (external link, opens in new window) and vlogs (external link, opens in new window) that I made last year, and I’m super excited to be back again this year to make more content for you! If you don’t remember me…Hello! How are you? Wonderful to meet you...(virtually)!
So, a little about me. I’m a third-year Professional Communication student, double minoring in Politics and News Studies (try saying that five times fast). I have a wide range of interests including politics, journalism and media and all types of communication. I’m from the GTA and I lived in residence my first year, more specifically in International Living/Learning Centre (ILLC), which I loved and highly recommend!
I’m super excited to be back and to continue showing you student life at university, which includes all things Toronto, relatable content, tips and hacks and overall my life as a student downtown in the largest city in Canada!
Now aside from school, I love playing and watching basketball (go Raptors), I really enjoy drawing, as it helps me destress, and I really like music (I’m a huge Drake fan). I am also a huge fan of movies and TV shows and have probably watched all your favourites. Some of my top movies are Collateral Beauty, Pursuit of Happyness (anything Will Smith to be honest), Good Will Hunting, all the Spiderman movies (I’m a big Marvel fan)...the list goes on. I also read a lot of books. I actually ended up reading 26 books this summer, and, yes, I’m on the side of TikTok where the recommendations are endless. On-campus, my favourite buildings are the Student Learning Centre (SLC) and the Rogers Communication (RCC). If you can't find me at either of those locations, I’m probably at the Chipotle on Yonge St.
I love playing and watching sports and I'm always attending our university games. This is a picture of me in 2019 at one of our hockey games.
