As an internationally recognized researcher and accomplished administrator, Dr. Mohamed Lachemi has played a pivotal role in shaping TMU into the institution it is today. His efforts reflect a deep commitment to innovation and excellence, driving the institution's growth and development. His leadership has been instrumental in promoting TMU as a global university, from launching the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst to guiding the establishment of our new and innovative law and medical schools.

Donette Chin-Loy Chang

Chancellor

Meet Donette Chin-Loy Chang, Toronto Metropolitan University’s chancellor – a distinguished communications leader and public affairs strategist, prolific philanthropist and proud alumna. She has worked as a reporter-producer with CBC Radio and led the overseas service of Radio Canada International in Toronto. Dedicating her time to philanthropy, she has also served as co-chair of Food For The Poor Canada and has helped transform lives through education, healthcare, social justice and the arts in Canada and globally.
