Zone Learning, the Legal Innovation Zone and Grant Thornton invite you to join us to learn more about the Scientific Research and Experimental Development Tax Incentive Program. The session will be led by Naren Balakrishnan, Principal, R&D and Government Incentives at Grant Thornton.
The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program is a federal tax incentive program designed to encourage Canadian businesses of all sizes and in all sectors to conduct research and development (R&D) in Canada.
This interactive session is designed for all companies: start-ups, small-medium enterprises, or any company performing R&D work in their industry in Canada. The goal will be to provide an overview of the SR&ED program, benefits and requirements, technical and financial eligibility criteria, CRA audit process and other interesting aspects of the program.
Lunch will be provided.
About Naren Balakrishnan
With over 15 years’ experience in information technology, including the last 12 years in professional services and consulting, Naren helps clients across all industries to file maximized and substantiated tax credit claims.
