Join the Science Discovery Zone for the Inside scoop where you can enjoy a sweet treat and interact with some experts in the science of ice cream! Come on over to the SDZ to learn more about why cold snacks give you a brain freeze, how senses affect flavour and how the lovely texture of soft serve is achieved!
This event is in partnership with the Royal Canadian Institute of Science (RCIS) and is organized as an interactive speaker session, where experts from their fields will go over the science behind this sweet treat! This will be accompanied by an open ice cream bar (that's right, all you can eat ice cream) and a space to enjoy a summer snack while also learning about the science behind it.
