A decade of achievement & a future of momentum at the 2026 Alumni Achievement Awards

June 17, 2026

“The rewards of helping members of our community succeed is fulfilling enough,” says Annilyne Dela Rosa (BTM ‘07), “but being recognized by my peers and collaborators makes it that much sweeter.”

Dela Rosa is one of fourteen 2026 Alumni Achievement Award recipients. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Ted Rogers School of Management in downtown Toronto. Hosted by Simrah Ali (Economics and Management Science ‘21), the event captured the passion for community and mentorship graduates of the Ted Rogers School carry with them years into their careers.

Marking the ten year anniversary of the awards, it was a special night bringing together new recipients, past award winners and the community at large to celebrate TRSM’s past and look to the next decade.

Dean of the Ted Rogers School, Dr. Cynthia Holmes, took to the podium to elaborate on the anonymous pledge of $12.5 million announced earlier this spring, a philanthropic gift that will have a transformative impact on the school. Dr. Holmes confirmed that the school will support student entrepreneurs building their ventures in the Top 50 program, increase funding for TRSM faculty research as well as help launch the Health Services Management major in collaboration with TMU’s School of Medicine.

Along with the Alumni Achievement Award recipients, the school handed the Industry Leader Award to Bradley Fedosoff, the Executive Vice-President, Chief Administration Officer and Technology, Data & AI, U.S Region at CIBC.

“To be recognized by the school that shaped who I became is a huge honour; I’m especially thankful to [2017 Trailblazer Award recipient] Christina Kramer, it’s very meaningful that she put my name forward for the Industry Leader Award,” says Fedosoff (BTM, ‘00).

Shiri Gawrielman (Human Resources Management ‘18 & MBA ‘22), one of the evening’s presenters and an IT Security Manager at Deloitte, hopes to see continued growth as a “ripple effect” for the school as alumni continue to pay it forward for current students and the wider community.

Christine Faulhaber, a past recipient of TRSM’s Entrepreneurship Award couldn’t agree more.

“It is amazing to be in a room with people a decade younger than you, doing amazing things in their fields and connected to the school where we all started,” adds Faulhaber (Business Management '96).

“Volunteers played a huge role in my undergraduate education,” explains Cole Sabaot (Human Resources Management ‘21), who was recognized for his volunteerism at the awards ceremony. “A lot of my mentors and extracurricular activities were facilitated by alumni coming back to the school.”

It's a sentiment shared by his fellow recipients like Marco Baltazar (Marketing Management ‘19) and Catherine Ku (Human Resources Management ‘19), both from the same graduating year at TRSM.

“I definitely want to make sure I pay it forward in the TRSM community,” adds Ku

As Sabaot put it at the end of the night, alumni volunteering is what turns gratitude into real impact on students and the wider university community.
