Indigenous Communities Council

The Indigenous Communities Council (ICC) is one way the School of Medicine aims to ensure Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing are built into the foundation of the school’s work by providing an avenue for active participation of Indigenous people. Members of the ICC provide strategic guidance on all aspects of the school’s work and their recommendations will be actioned wherever possible. The ICC includes diverse Indigenous voices. Members include internal TMU faculty, students and staff, as well as external community members and representatives of partner organizations.
