Resilient Yonge: Mitacs project focusses on post-pandemic recovery

Toronto Metropolitan University faculty (Dr Dave Colangelo, Dr Victor Perez Amado), post-graduates from SURP, and graduate students (including MPC student Amy (Sin I) U), to work collaboratively with the DYBIA and other community partners. This Mitacs-supported project will harness the expertise of Toronto Metropolitan University faculty, post-graduates, and graduate students to work collaboratively with the Downtown Yonge BIA (DYBIA) and other community partners to conceive, design and implement innovative interventions to support post-pandemic recovery and build resilience for upcoming construction disruption. The project team will also draw from research and analysis conducted in recent years and months relevant to informing innovations and approaches to implementation and evaluate programs and interventions to modify or adapt these for longer-term implementation.
