Dr. Tatyana Terzopoulos

My research areas intersect education, media, and children/youth more broadly and include children’s/youth media cultures; critical digital literacies/pedagogies; and media literacy/production curriculum. My recent and current projects engage with intersectional feminist theory to examine equity and inclusivity within media production education; they also investigate the disparities faced by girl-identifying youth in STE(A)M fields, aiming to foster greater inclusivity and opportunity within these domains. I further explore youth-informed, arts-/media-based, and co-creative research methodologies and processes.
