Danielle Martin is a fashion designer. Her practice-based research is at the intersection of art, fashion design, and the technology of 3D printing, mostly how the 3D printing technology influences the creative and making process in fashion design draping. She is the recipient of prestigious national and international awards. Her fashion design artworks were presented on the runway in Hong Kong, Pittsburgh, Miami, Montreal, Toronto, and has been exhibited in gallery spaces in New York, London, Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, at the Dutch Design Week, in Eindhoven.

Her teaching in design and creative direction, as well as her research, explores positive and mixed emotions as inspiration and sustainable solutions to problems caused by neomania.
