Overview
Exams can be stressful enough as it is–don’t let finding parking add to the pressure! By purchasing a Fall/Winter parking permit, you’ll have unlimited in-and-out access to a dedicated on-campus parking facility. With four and eight month permit options, enjoy the convenience of worry-free parking close to your classes.
Eligibility
Undergraduate and Chang School of Continuing Education students
- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of three courses in the fall and winter semesters.
Graduate students
- Students must be registered in the fall and winter semesters.
Duration
Parking permits are valid for a four or eight-month period and grant you unlimited in-and-out parking privileges for the duration of your parking permit:
- Four month parking permit
- Fall 2025 semester: September 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025
- Winter 2026 semester: January 1, 2026 to April 30, 2026
- Eight month parking permit
- Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 semesters: September 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026
- Note: This permit option will not be available at the 288 Church St. garage for 2025-2026
Permit holder parking locations
Student parking permits can be purchased for one of three parking facilities.
240 Jarvis St. Garage (underground parking)
- Four month permit price: $1,000 (includes HST)
- Eight month permit price: $1,760 (includes HST)
- Parking permit decal: Required
202 Jarvis St. Lot (surface parking)
- Four month permit price: $740 (includes HST)
- Eight month permit price: $1,240 (includes HST)
- Parking permit decal: Required
288 Church St. (underground parking)
- Four month permit price: SOLD OUT
- Eight month permit price: NOT AVAILABLE FOR 2025-2026
- Parking permit decal: Not required
Parking permit application process
Please note that the online permit application portal is not unavailable between 12 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. daily for maintenance.
Once your purchase is completed, you will receive an email confirmation to your TMU email account from tmuparking@torontomu.ca. This email will include:
- Transaction confirmation
- Parking facility location attached to your permit
- Access guidelines for your parking facility location
- Instructions regarding the placement of parking permit decals on vehicles
Please allow two (2) business days after your transaction date for your OneCard to be activated.
TMU student parking permit holders must pick up their parking permit decal from the OneCard Office. Please note that we require two business days between when you purchase your parking permit and when you may pick up your parking permit decal from the OneCard Office.
Parking permit decals must be clearly displayed on the left side of the vehicle’s front windshield or on the dashboard of the vehicle at all times. Failure to do so may result in the vehicle being ticketed and/or towed.
