288 Church St. Garage (DCC)

The DCC Garage will be closed for public parking starting at noon on Friday, December 19, 2025, until Monday, January 5, 2026. Regular hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

Winter 2026 parking permits are now available for the 288 Church St. Garage.

Parking entrance from Church Street side - DCC parking garage.

Hours: 

  • Monday to Friday - 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. 
  • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays - 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Overview:

  • Type: Underground parking garage
  • Height clearance: 6.3 ft.
  • Location: Alleyway south of 288 Church St. Accessible from the west side of Church St. between Gerrard St. and Dundas St.

Accessible parking 

  • Three accessible van parking spaces (Type A)
  • Six standard accessible parking spaces (Type B)

Electric vehicle (EV) charging 

  • Six Level 2 charging spots
  • EV spaces are reserved for vehicles that require EV charging. 
  • A fee of $1.50/hr applies for vehicles charging in EV parking spots.  $5/hr for any vehicle left charging in a spot with a full battery.

Day rate is in effect until 6:59 p.m. If you stay past 6:59 p.m., the night rate will commence at 7 p.m.

Using the EV charging stations spaces

  1. Download the SWTCH app (Apple App Store (external link)  or Google Play Store (external link) ) or visit the SWTCH website (external link) .
  2. Create an account and verify your email address.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to begin charging your vehicle.

Please note:

  • Vehicles may only park in the EV charging station spaces while actively charging.
  • A fee of $5/hr. applies to any vehicle left charging with a full battery. The SWTCH app will notify you when your vehicle is fully charged and should be moved. 
  • You have 30 mins to move your vehicle from the EV spot to another spot before the $5/hr rate starts.
