Nicholas Stedman is a visual artist and creative technologist whose practice explores embodied interaction, robotics, and material experience. His work combines custom electronics, software, and fabrication to create interactive systems that foreground touch, movement, and responsiveness. Stedman holds an MFA from the University at Buffalo and a BFA from Toronto Metropolitan University. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at Ars Electronica, ISEA, Oboro, and CAFKA, and has received multiple grants and awards. He has taught at Toronto Metropolitan University, OCAD University, and York University, and has worked professionally as a creative technology consultant on large-scale interactive projects.
