Dr. Ndeye Ba is Associate Professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and Culture from Western University, along with graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Université Cheikh Anta Diop (Dakar).
Her research primarily explores postcolonial dynamics, linguistic equity, and plurilingualism, focusing on the intersections of language, power, identity, and literature. Dr. Ba’s work has been published in journals such as Voix Plurielles, French Cultural Studies, Recherches Francophones, African Journal of Literatures and Humanities, and Lettres et Langues, as well as by McGill-Queen’s University Press.
