Spiros Vavougios is Legal Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel and Board Secretariat at Toronto Metropolitan University. He provides legal and strategic advice and assistance in the areas of administrative law, litigation, corporate and commercial law, privacy, and policy. 

Prior to joining Toronto Metropolitan University, Spiros was a summer student at a civil litigation boutique and worked in the family and criminal law divisions at the Community & Legal Aid Services Program, where he advanced the interests of marginalized clients through an interdisciplinary lens.

Spiros received his LLM from Yale Law School and his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a proud graduate of the Equity Studies program at the University of Toronto.
