To celebrate the launch of a new Minor in LGBTQ2S+ Studies at TMU, we are happy to host talks by two renowned scholars, Dr. Lisa L. Moore and Dr. Bo Ruberg. Dr. Moore, Archibald A. Hill Professor of English and Women's and Gender Studies at The University of Texas at Austin, will talk about her upcoming book, "How Lesbians Saved Poetry." Dr. Ruberg, Associate Professor in the Department of Film and Media Studies at the University of California, Irvine, will talk about their newest book, Sex Dolls at Sea: Imagined Histories of Sexual Technologies. This event promises to be a fascinating and thought-provoking exploration of the intersections of literature, media, technology, and the LGBTQ2S+ experience.

Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) is dedicated to celebrating the voices and contributions of the LGBTQ2S+ community. TMU recognizes the importance of creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students, faculty, and staff, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
