Hope Nicholson is an editor, researcher, producer, publisher, and passionate fangirl based in Winnipeg. She is the owner of Bedside Press, a niche publisher specializing in archival and anthology comic collections. She writes and speaks frequently about women in fandom, Canadian comic book history, and self-publishing. Her recent projects include The Secret Loves of Geek Girls (as writer and publisher), Moonshot (an edited collection of Inuit, Metis, and First Nations comic book stories), and Angel Catbird (consulting editor), a graphic novel series by Margaret Atwood & Johnnie Christmas published by Dark Horse Comics.
