Please join the celebration of the publication of Professor Colleen Derkatch's book,
Bounding Biomedicine: Evidence and Rhetoric in the New Science of Alternative Medicine. The book tracks how the concept of evidence is invoked in arguments about complementary and alternative medicine to show that what counts as a safe, effective health treatment--whether alternative or not--is constrained by the terms of the debate itself.
