Program Info

The SDZ's Student-in-Residence (SiR) Program is open to full or part-time undergraduate students in any program or discipline. This creates opportunities for students to work alongside startups from the SDZ. This will be a part-time position where the student recieves a stipend while the startup recieves a wage subsidy to access student support.

Matching is at the discretion of the startup, as they will review the applications to determine which student best aligns with the open role.

3-4 MONTH COMMITMENT

You will be working 3-4 months with your startup/student.

$825 STIPEND PAY

You will recieve a fixed sum payment of $825 as a salary.

6-10 HRS/WEEK

You can complete a maximum of 80 hours by the end of the program. 

Hybrid work icon

HYBRID WORK

You will be able to work from home AND in-person.
