Nick Velez

Nick Velez is an undergraduate student in Toronto Metropolitan University’s Geographic Analysis program. He has completed courses in environmental studies and migration. His interests lie within human and environmental interactions, the way each goes on to shape facets of the other and how they can be intertwined. With focus on hydrology, Nick has aspirations of making a career within spatial analysis. He is currently working with the team and learning about the myriad of analytical techniques that come into use within MEMO. His placement within the project encourages further exploration and understanding of the factors and stressors that may fuel migration.
