Film for Change
In this course, which involves traveling to a city where an international film festival occurs, students will be introduced to the importance of film, not only as a window into a culture, but also as a tool for social justice. Students will learn, through direct contact with the region and the directors that make these social changes possible, about the role that film festivals play in providing platforms for those advocating change.
