Orientation

This course focuses on topics designed to improve the effectiveness of learning strategies and study skills. This course includes discussions on topics such as effective communication skills, learning styles, theory of learning and successful problem solving, career planning, the Co-op program, effective use of the library and other topics that will help students to become more resourceful and successful in their program. All students in Science programs must enroll in SCI 180 in their first semester of studies. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
