Positive Psychology

Positive Psychology is the study of optimal human functioning, of how we thrive. The field of Positive Psychology blends insight, research, and wisdom from numerous traditions and fields including cognitive psychology, health psychology, organizational behaviour, learning science, and neuroscience. In this course, we explore what comprises happiness, including resilience, habit formation, growth mindset, mindfulness, character strengths, awe, hope, and purpose, with special emphasis on applications to Canadian post-secondary students.
