Race, Gender and Public Policy

This course examines the political decisions that affect the everyday lives of citizens through the lens of race, gender and other intersecting identities. It examines how political decisions differentially affect racialized people, particularly racialized women, those who identify as 2SLGBTQ+, diverse ethnicities and Indigenous peoples, and explores equitable political solutions to contemporary problems.
