Transportation Policy

The links between public policy, politics, and planning shapes both the practice and daily activities of transportation planning and how that practice informs broader decisions related to managing, operating, and investing in transportation services. This course addresses the link by exploring how the transportation policy framework relates to broader public policies (e.g. land use policy, climate change policy, etc.) and what this means for planning practice.
