Advanced Multimedia Journalism

This upper-year course explores the use of emerging technologies to create innovative, immersive storytelling experiences. Students will examine how journalists and filmmakers are using virtual, augmented and mixed realities to enhance both daily news content and longer-form, narrative-driven stories. They will also experiment with these technologies to create immersive journalistic content.
