Introduction to FinTech

This course serves as an introduction to the various topics in Financial Technology (FinTech). Rather than covering a single topic in detail, this course aims to provide a broad introduction to the different areas of FinTech. Topics to be covered include the current role of FinTech in financial services industry, blockchain and distributed ledgers from a technology perspective, the cryptocurrency market as an emerging asset class, and newly developed methods in the financial decision makings.
