Parasitology and Pest Control

This course is a study of parasites, arthropods and rodents of public health significance. In the parasitology section, emphasis is on prevention and control of parasites through an understanding of their life cycles. The entomology and pest control sections prepare students to deal effectively with pest complaints from the public. Integrated pest management systems will also be covered.
