Intensive In-Home Family Support

Focuses on a Child and Youth Care Approach to working with families. Topics covered include: characteristics of a CYC approach and effective workers; history and culture; context of interventions; understanding behaviour in context; meaning-making; a CYC process of intervention; the role of self in family work; and reflection in practice. Special emphasis is placed on working with families in their home and community.
