Basic Chromatography

This course deals with the basic principles of chromatographic separations from a fundamental, analytical viewpoint. Lecture topics include general theory and equations of chromatographic methods, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, and ion-exchange methods. Laboratory experiments will provide a back up to the theory of GC and HPLC and will demonstrate the variety of chromatographic techniques available for routine use.
